About Ace Farren Ford
Ace Farren Ford was born in 1957 in Los Angeles. Began writing poetry
at the age of 10. Fortunately, not much of this early writing survives.
Around this time he also began attempting to play music, forming a long
running musical association with his best friend, Richard Snyder. He
began recording and releasing various types of music in 1976, founding
his Ace & Duce Record label in 1978. He has appeared on more than 40
releases, lps, cds, cassettes and seven inch records. He is considered
to be a founding member of the Los Angeles Free Music Society. Performed
with various music ensembles, most recently the Mystery Band, Ace &
Duce & EXP.

Published his first book of poems, “A Year Of Thursdays” in 1991, his
second, “Escape From Beneath The Valley Of Thursdays” in 1996, his third,
“Exiled Once More To The Island Of Thursdays” in 1999, and "Love
Theme From Thursdays (Liebestraum)" in 2002.

He continues to reside in Los Angeles, where he works as a tattoo artist
in Hollywood, and raises twin children, Mars Pharoah and Rose Mystery
